Field Test 02: Baja Bouldering
Vine, mire, conquiste (I came, I saw, I conquered)
One of the things we love about bouldering is you can see a rock and conquer it and you don't need a lot of gear. Being a minimalist, means always having the right gear and the La Paz Adventure Short and Tasman Merino Tee were tested out on a quick Baja beach scramble. Even in the 90 degree heat, Justin was able to quickly ascend the boulder and get to the cave looking rad.
The La Paz shorts are great because they have everything you need in a pair of climbing (or general adventure) shorts. The stretch Cordura Nylon fabric is breathable, comfortable, stylish and durable.
The Tasman Merino Tee was born for this environment. This lightweight, soft 18.5 Micron Merino wool with added Core Nylon wicked away sweat, stayed cool in the heat, did not pick up odor and avoided sun fading.
Both pieces are also incredibly versatile. You can wear these as we did to the crag, the beach, and around town as an everyday pair of shorts and tee. In addition to climbing and bouldering, they work perfectly for biking, camping, hiking, backpacking, even sailing.
